At Paul’s Parts, we want you to be happy with your order. Please read the policy below carefully before returning any item.
1) Return window
We offer a 30-day return window, meaning you have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.
2) How to request a return
To start a return, email us at:
Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you want to return
- The reason for the return
- Photos (required for damaged items / incorrect items / used parts concerns)
If your return is approved, we’ll provide full return instructions.
3) Return eligibility (new items)
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and uninstalled
- In original packaging
- Complete with all included accessories/parts
- Returned with proof of purchase (order number/receipt)
If an item shows signs of fitting/installation, wear, damage, missing parts, or missing packaging, we may not be able to approve the return.
4) Used parts (important)
Paul’s Parts sells a wide range of used/second-hand parts, including engines, gearboxes, ECUs/electrical items, body panels, wheels, and interior parts.
Due to the nature of used parts, returns are only accepted if:
- The item arrives damaged, or
- The item is incorrect (not what was ordered), or
- The item is materially not as described in the listing
Used parts are not eligible for return in the following cases:
- Change of mind
- Compatibility or fitment issues where the item matches the listing description and part number provided
- Items that have been fitted, installed, modified, coded, opened, or tampered with
- Damage caused after delivery (including during installation)
For any issue with a used part, you must contact us before fitting and provide clear photos of the item and packaging on arrival.
5) Electrical items (new or used)
Electrical parts (including ECUs, sensors, modules, wiring looms, etc.) are sensitive to handling and installation.
If an electrical item is faulty on arrival or not as described, contact us immediately with photos and details.
We may request additional information (such as part numbers or fault descriptions) to assist in resolving the issue.
Electrical items that have been installed, coded, opened, altered, or damaged due to incorrect fitting or wiring may not be eligible for return.
6) Damages, defects & incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, email [email protected] as soon as possible with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of the packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
7) Sale items & special orders
The following items may not be eligible for return:
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
- Made-to-order or specially ordered items
- Any item clearly marked as final sale or non-returnable
If you are unsure before ordering, please contact us and we will confirm.
8) Exchanges
The fastest way to receive the correct item is to:
- Request a return (if eligible), and
- Place a new order once your return has been approved
9) EU 14-day cooling-off period
If you are an EU consumer purchasing online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days in certain cases.
This right generally applies provided items are returned:
- Unused and uninstalled
- In original condition and packaging
- With proof of purchase
Please note that used parts and certain categories (such as special orders) may be treated differently depending on circumstances. If unsure, contact us before purchasing.
10) Refunds
Once we receive your return, it will be inspected and you will be notified of approval or rejection.
If approved:
- A 10% handling/restocking fee will be deducted from the item price
- Original delivery/shipping charges are non-refundable
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed after approval (bank/payment provider times may vary).
