NO 3 :PO 4 -X is an exceptional complex of carbons used by bacteria which reduce nutrients. Each carbon of this complex is used by a different strain of microorganisms while guaranteeing the specific carbon/nitrogen ratio required for each step. The complex includes other organic bound elements which are important stimulators of each stage of the reduction process. These metals and non-metals ensure stable propagation of bacteria, complete reduction of nitrates to nitrogen gas, and absorption and utilization of phosphates by bacteria.
